welcome back

It's been great to welcome everyone back to UGS this morning for what promises to be a fantastic summer term.

We start with some lovely news: towards the end of last term, kind-hearted Year 12 Connie organised a raffle of this awesome hamper to help to raise funds towards her aid trip to Kenya with UGS next year, where she will teach children and help to construct buildings.

Many in our UGS community did us proud and turned out to support Connie and buy tickets - but there could only be one winner - and we are now delighted to announce that the lucky person to have their name drawn out of the hat was none other than Mrs Chadwick, who is pictured above looking rightly delighted!

Really well done Connie and all who supported this great cause, great ambassadors for our core values of Pride, Participation and Empathy!
