netball & maths success

Yesterday, our students did us proud in the fields of both Sport and Maths.

Firstly, pictured above is one of our Year 7 Netball teams, who yesterday evening showed amazing determination and teamwork when playing in the Trafford Netball tournament. They finished in second place after 3 wins and just 1 loss! Really well done all!

Secondly, a cohort of our ace Year 10 and 11 mathematicians, pictured above getting ready to start, took part in the latest round of the UK Maths Trust Intermediate Maths Challenge, that they recently qualified for.

And this afternoon, Mr Watkinson is taking 4 of our KS3 students to Alderley Edge School to compete in the UKMT Team Maths challenge 2025.
