happy pi day!
Celebrations, fun activities and lots of pi(es) for students in our Maths department
It's Pi Day today, so our Maths department organised a special fun lunchtime workshop for our Year 7 and 8 students.
This involved not only lots of hands-on pi-related activities and challenges.
Including `Write a pi-ku poem` and `how many words can you write down that start with pi`?
But also, yes you guessed it, lots of delicious pies to eat!
A really great opportunity for some fun hands-on learning, and a fantastic enrichment experience for our keen KS3 mathematicians.
