This lunchtime, the library was delighted to host a very special house reading event to chime with Valentine's Day this week: Book Speed-Dating!

KS3 students were invited to the Reading Room to circulate & meet a wide variety of books from our shelves.

In timed 5-minute intervals, students browsed and rated books from a whole host of authors spanning different genres, and recorded their first impressions.

As the whistle sounded, it was time to move along and meet some more books!

It was a lot of fun and a great way to get to know the titles available to read, and many walked away with their perfect book match!

All while enjoying some edible treats and earning house-points for taking part in this special house event.

And huge congratulations to Aria 7S (pictured with chocolates below) who was our lucky prize draw winner!
