forthcoming author visit

As shared in emails to parents and carers yesterday, we are delighted to announce that YA author Sue Cunningham will be visiting UGS for a special event during World Book Day week on Friday 7th March, where Sue will introduce students to her brand new book Cloud Nine that is due to be released at the end of next month. Set in Manchester, this heart-warming teen rom-com is suitable for ages 12 and over, and is receiving amazing advance reviews.

Sue will be delighted to answer questions about her books and the writing process, and students will get the opportunity to buy Cloud Nine that Sue will personally sign for them at the event.

Cloud Nine is available to pre-order now on our Parentpay system at a special event price courtesy of Urmston Books and Games, and we look forward to seeing lots of our students at this special event.

Sue visited us last year to tell us all about her hugely successful first novel Totally Deceased; it was a fantastic experience for our students, and we cannot wait to welcome her again.
