new year reading challenge

We are excited to launch the first of our Library House Reading challenges for 2025, and, in the spirit of New Year's resolutions, it is themed: `New Year, New Book, New Chapter`.

Our students are tasked with reading as many new books as they can this half term and to take the opportunity to explore and select titles from the shelves of our Reading Room, LRC and ebook platform. They will be awarded house points for taking part and the students who read the highest number of titles will receive special rewards.

Some of our most recent acquisitions are on special display in the LRC, and the first of our students to take up the challenge are pictured this morning taking the opportunity to get inspired and to get started on their New Year's reading journey.

We look forward to sharing updates on how they progress and on whose passion for reading is rewarded with those all-important house points.
