new year for science club

It might only be day one of a new term, but Year 7 Science Club wasted no time in ushering in 2025 with an exciting and educational lunchtime "escape room" quiz.

Our young scientists were tasked with answering a series of multiple-choice questions put to them by quiz-master Mrs Walsh on topics such as aerobic respiration.

The correctly numbered answers constructed a code that they could enter into the "generator" that would secure their escape from the room; did they succeed in cracking the code by ace-ing the questions? Of course they did!

A great start to a new year of fun extracurricular scientific exploration and learning; we can't wait to see what Science Club are up to next week, with huge thanks to Mrs Walsh, Dr Bethell and Mr Sharp for arranging this great opportunity for our students.
