a level celebration event

Yesterday evening was a very special date in our school calendar when we were delighted to welcome back our A level class of 2024, with their parents and carers, to celebrate the fantastic exam results achieved in the summer; to hear all about their first term at university, on apprenticeships, in employment or on gap years; to share memories with staff and peers of their time with us at UGS; and to collect those all important exam certificates.

Mrs Wall, Mrs Mohamed and Miss Lingwood shared their pride in them all and their delight at seeing them all again, before joyously reflecting on all that they had achieved and contributed to UGS during their time with us.

It was lovely to see so many students rejoin us for this amazing whole year group event before we finish for Christmas; we wish them all continued success in the next stage of their journeys, and, as Mrs Wall observed, the Year 14 students will always be a part of our very special UGS community.
