year 7 Christmas books quiz winners

Pictured above this morning are the proud team winners of the Year 7 Library House Christmas Books Quiz that took place on Monday: Charlie 7S, Bharath 7T, Seb 7S, Clara 7S, Liam 7S, Hattie 7M, Abigail 7M, Amelie 7U & Lilly Rose 7U (also but not pictured Brooke 7M).

It was festively fantastic to see so many Year 7s turn out to take part, especially as a special Christmas dinner was being served in our canteen, and the teams enjoyed pitting their wits on a vast array of Christmas tales. These included classics by masters of the genre Charles Dickens and Louisa May Alcott, short tales, including personal favourite O. Henry's The Gift of the Magi, stories that inspired movie adaptations such as Van Allsburg's The Polar Express and Briggs's The Snowman, and moderns like JK Rowling's The Christmas Pig.

Really well done all, and the winning results are as follows:
