celebrating the stars of year 7
So proud of our Year 7 high achievers!
Head of Year Miss Devenney Lees was delighted at break time today to organise a special event and treat for the "shining stars" of Year 7, the students who have done so much to make both her and all staff proud this term, and they were excited to receive an invitation to join the celebration - with goodies of course - in our Conference Room.
The students are pictured above enjoying their moment, and they were congratulated by Year 7 tutors and Miss Devenney Lees, who shared her pride in all that they have managed to achieve in their short time so far at UGS: their academic achievements, their commendable attitude to learning, their outstanding behaviour, their high levels of participation in extracurricular clubs, activities and competitions, and their contribution to school community and life.
They are great ambassadors not only for Year 7, but for our school, and we know that they will go from strength to strength and continue to do us proud as they progress on their UGS journey.
