art bake & cake sale

We have been delighted today to see so many of our students turn out to show their support for the hard work of our GCSE and A level Art students, who have put in a great deal of time and effort to make and bake a stupendous array of delicious bakes and cakes to sell to raise money towards the purchase of new resources for students to use in the Art department, specifically new iPads with drawing pens

At break, and again at lunch, the queue of eager students (and staff), carefully managed by Art Department staff Miss Jones and Miss Bamford, stretched down the corridor, while they patiently awaited access to the crowded Conference Room.

With a display of gorgeous goods to rival The Great British Bake Off tent, we are sure that sales today and the support of our wonderful school community will contribute enormously to the fund-raising drive.

And, in breaking news this afternoon, Miss Bamford is delighted to announce that takings amounted to a phenomenal £384! Really well done all!
