year 13 wellbeing day

Much deserved reward for our hard-working Year 13s after their mock exams!

Year 13 completed their mock A level exams last week, and as Head of Year Mr Neale told them in a special assembly this morning, the Sixth Form team have been truly impressed with Year 13's hard work so far this term, and their positive attitude and commitment to learning and revision.

As a reward, Mr Neale was delighted to organise a special day of rotating sessions of R & R and fun for the year group today, with some taking place between timetabled lessons, and some within. There was also a much-appreciated option to wear Athleisure wear all day.

The day began with a special assembly incorporating a cinema special, followed by cookie decorating in the Sixth Form Hub (lead picture & below):

And, of course, eating and enjoying the lovingly decorated bakes!

As well as the opportunity to relax with some group arts and crafts:

Well-being activities were also arranged for lessons, including a special treat of warming refreshments on this chilly day in Mrs Dooley's Psychology class:

At lunchtime, there was the opportunity to unwind and relax with some football on our astroturf, and to play table tennis in the Main Hall:

All in all, a fantastic way to take some time out together to relax as a year group community, and to rejuvenate after a hard-working period of mock exams.

Year 13 are now energised and ready to move forward with this all-important year, and we wish them the very best of luck with the next phase of their UGS journey.

With huge thanks to Mr Neale, the SFT, and all the staff who supported today's event.
