We were delighted to see so many of our students participate in Remembrance Sunday parades last weekend, representing the many organisations to which they belong, including Scouts and the Air and Sea cadets.

And Will 9M did us particularly proud on Remembrance Day itself on Monday, leaving school to play the last post at Urmston Cenotaph, where he is pictured paying his respects above and below.

Will not only proudly represented UGS, but Urmston District Scouting in which he is an active member, and the local community were very appreciative of him having dedicated time out of his school day to contribute this moving tribute to the fallen, with many veterans thanking him afterwards.
