Mrs Walsh and Mrs Yarwood have been delighted this week to launch Crest Award Science Club.

Year 8 and Year 9 Scientists are invited to participate, and just some of the students who have signed up are pictured above and below at the inaugural meeting after school yesterday afternoon.

The students will have the opportunity to plan, to research, to carry out, and to present on a Science project to earn a CREST award.

There are a variety of different projects to choose from, and the students will need to demonstrate independence, proactivity, and enthusiasm, and to develop and flex their investigative, reflective, and evaluative skills.

We know that our students have all of these in abundance, and we look forward to seeing them rise to the challenge, and to sharing news about all that they achieve!
