fund-raising event today

Year 12 students and TARA join together for Sickle Cell Anemia and Show Racism the Red Card

Year 12s Derin and Tinu, and our TARA ambassadors today collaborated on a fund-raising drive to jointly raise funds for both Sickle Cell Anemia and charity Show Racism the Red Card.

They arranged for Year 12 students to wear red in exchange for a donation in a show of support, and also organised a fantastic bake and cake sale, that was impressively well-supported by our school community, as you can see from the pictures above, with just some of the team pictured below.

They also raffled a fabulous goodie hamper, and were delighted to announce the excited winner Jacob 8S (seen below with some of the team) as lunchbreak ended.

Congratulations Jacob, enjoy your prize!

Really well done to Derin, Tinu, the TARA team and year 12 helpers, and huge thanks to all the students and staff who came out to show their support for these fantastic causes.

Once again, you have done us all immensely proud!
