Bon appétit!

Café Culture inspired learning for our Year 7 students of French

We might be a long way from the banks of the Seine, but in their French language lessons this week, 7R have been channelling the spirit of the bistros of our European neighbours, as you can see.

In order to enrich their learning and develop their spoken language skills, the students in Mr Gough's class: Nadal and Arthur (lead photo), Abdullah and Eliot (above); and Rosie and David (below) were tasked with performing restaurant role play in French.

They impressed Mr Gough, and the rest of the form, with a superb demonstration of their knowledge of the French language, of the country's fine cuisine, and of their consummate acting skills.

Really well done all, we could almost be in Le Procope!

With huge thanks to Mr Gough and 7R for sharing their news.
