year 10 reward trip to Alton towers

On Friday's gloriously sunny day, Year 10 got to experience a much-deserved reward for their many achievements this year, and not least for their hard work towards their recent mock exams.

Accompanied by Alton Towers stalwart and Head of Year 11 Miss Smith, Head of Year 10 Mr Gough, their form tutors and supporting staff, Year 10 boarded their coaches in Urmston at 8am to head to Staffordshire and its mighty theme park, captured below in its sunlit glory by Miss Smith.

Year 10 enjoyed a fantastic day, taking in the many attractions, thrills, and spills, including firm favourite the awe-inspiring Wickerman ride, with our students undeterred by the wait in line!

It could not have been better conditions for this well-earned day of fun, and the coaches delivered our students back bang on schedule, in an impressive display of time-keeping.

There is still a celebration of achievement to look forward to for Year 10 before the academic year is up, but for now they can enjoy the memories of this fantastic day.
