We are extremely proud of our Feminist Society, a new enrichment, extracurricular, and awareness-raising opportunity for our students, co-ordinated by Mrs Bourne, and driven by our student body from across the year groups.

They are excited to announce their very first charity event that will take place this Friday:

Feminist Society meet weekly during lunchtime on Fridays, and in our lead picture are just two of its members - Ananya and Niamh 8R - who finished work at lunchtime today on the first stage of the Society's brand new noticeboard in the LRC.

The noticeboard will be developed to promote and raise awareness about all the events and initiatives that Feminist Society will be discussing, planning and implementing, as well as highlighting contemporary issues and national and international events that are core to women's lives today.

Feminist Society will also be working on promoting the range of texts and literature by and about women, women's history, culture, and experiences that are available to our students, and they plan dedicated displays of the resources moving forward.

We look forward to sharing updates on the progress of this great new opportunity for our students and on this Friday's fantastic event.
