celebrating our new senior prefect team

New half term launches with the appointment of our new team!

We have been delighted today to welcome students back to school invigorated for the new half term, and what better way to start than with the announcement of the appointment of our new Senior Prefect Team:

Boris 12R, Max 12X, Francesca 12T, Haris 12U, George 12G, Lewis 12X, Zain 12R, Presley 12G, Sylvie 12T, Hannah 12S, Sally 12M, Emilia 12G, Crystal 12T, Adam 12M, Jasmine 12X & Tinu 12S (not pictured).

The application process involved Year 12 students submitting manifestos that included a mandate and vision for how they can contribute to, enrich, and support our Sixth Form and whole school community. Polling day, where both Year 12 students and UGS staff were given the opportunity to vote, took place just before the Whit break.

The results have now been counted and verified, and Head of Year Mr Neale and the Sixth Form Team were delighted to announce the successful candidates during Assembly this morning; and they are pictured above proudly enjoying the first moment of their tenure.

They will be meeting with Head Mrs Wall and Head of Sixth Form Miss Lingwood for their formal investiture and celebration later this week, where they will also be awarded their badges. And interviews for the post of Head Prefects will occur later this term.

Really well done all, we could not be more proud, and look forward to sharing news of all that the new team achieve moving forward!
