fantastic sports success this week!

It's been a great week for Sport at UGS, with not one but two awesome successes and outcomes!

Volleyball

Pictured above are our Under 18 Boy's Volleyball Team in action, who, in an amazing achievement, secured a superb 3-1 win over Wyggeston & Queen Elizabeth College this week, which has put them forward to the Semi-Final of the National Cup!

Really well done to all involved and for your superb level play: Joe C, Max H, Alex A, Oscar S, George E, George F, Sonny C and Casper T. 

Cricket

And we are also thrilled to share that our U15 girls’ indoor cricket team won the Trafford Final and are through to the Greater Manchester competition: Ruby H, Iris P, Maisie E, Jess R, Mia G, Evelyn P, Mya I, Eloise G, Alice H, and Martha P.

Fantastic news, we wish them all the very best of luck with the next stages, and watch this space for updates!
