Looking forward to the second in our Community Lecture series this evening!
Tonight at 6pm we are hosting the second in our series of Community supercurricular lectures in our Theatre:
Who's There?: An Overview of Ghosts in English Literature and Critical Theory, delivered by our very own Mr Connell.
This is a fantastic opportunity for students and for those interested in the topic to experience University level teaching from a subject specialist in the field, with our first having been delivered last half-term by guest lecturer Katherine Hammond on an Introduction to Mitophagy in Parkinson's Disease:
Urmston Grammar School - inaugural super-curricular community lecture
Tonight's lecture promises to be a thought-provoking exploration and critique of literary theory and (de)construction, from the minds of Jacques Derrida and others, and its application to a range of texts.
All are welcome, and we hope to see you there!
