year 10 riding high!

As another academic year draws to a close, to reward all their hard work in the first year of their GCSE studies and the completion of their mock exams, UGS arranged a fun day at theme park Alton Towers for Year 10.

Accompanied by Pastoral Leader Miss Smith and their form tutors amongst other members of staff, the students were keen to enjoy the many white-knuckle rides and edible treats on offer, and were pleased that the balmy weather held off from breaking until they had left! 

A fantastic day for all, and some much needed R and R before the hard work resumes in Year 11!

And huge thanks to all the staff who supported the students on this trip.
