Swiss exchange trip

Last term our MFL department, in a brand new initiative, was delighted to host students from Gymnase de la Broye school in Switzerland, when they enjoyed a full UGS experience while staying with host families, and excursions to iconic locations around the North West.

This weekend, on Saturday, a cohort of our very own Year 11 and 13 MFL students arrived in beautiful Payerne on exchange.

Today they are in school, and are practising their French skills with Swiss students.

They spent the weekend with their host families, and have thoroughly enjoyed visiting local beauty spots such as Lac Noir and Gruyères.

They have also enjoyed sampling local delicacies, such as delicious fondue!

We look forward to sharing more updates on the excursions that will take place throughout the week!
