Our Year 10 PHSE ambassadors lead on learning this morning!
We could not be more proud of our fantastic new team of Year 10 PHSE ambassadors, and this morning they impressed as they delivered PHSE lessons to Year 7 students on the topic "What is Your identity?"
The PSE ambassador programme is a fantastic student leadership and enrichment opportunity coordinated and supported by Head of Student Development Mrs Crouch, and she is delighted with the progress and commitment demonstrated by all the enthusiastic participants so far.
Kirama and Ben (and Lewis) can be seen in our lead picture and above working with 7R, whilst Princess, Diane and Analina led the session with 7S:
All of our ambassadors tasked Year 7 students with exploring identity through creating mind maps and fielding questions that challenge thinking, while encouraging debate and discussion amongst the class. Aleena and Sophia taught 7U:
With Archie and Kairon leading 7T:
The Year 10s impressed us all with their mature and considered delivery of the sessions and with their success in supporting their respective classes in fulfilling the learning outcomes for this topic.
Really well done all, with huge thanks to the ambassadors for all their hard work in preparing for today's lessons, and for demonstrating our core values and student leadership qualities.
