Dahl day house event
Year 7 get quizzing at a special lunchtime event today!
September marks national Roald Dahl day and in what is now a UGS Library tradition, and a fun way to welcome our new Year 7 cohort, it was time today for a special house event in our Reading Room : the big Roald Dahl Day quiz.
Year 7 were invited to pit their wits in a fun quiz on the books of the much-loved children's author.
They demonstrated a superb level of knowledge on all things BFG and Matilda, to name just some.
There was a lovely spirit of friendly competition.
Not to mention concentrated team spirit!
And a fantastic demonstration of our core UGS values of Pride, Participation and Empathy.
The winners will be announced tomorrow, and we cannot wait to award house-points and prizes to all our epic competitors.
