engaging session for our a level german students

Head of German Mr Cummins is delighted to share news about the work and enrichment activity undertaken by our Year 13 students as part of their preparations for the external exams this summer.

He reports that students, and staff, engaged in an excellent BFI session on the critically acclaimed and award-winning 2006 film ‘Das Leben der Anderen’ (The Lives of Others). ahead of this summer’s writing exam.

A complex and challenging watch with the fall of the Berlin Wall at its centre, the students participated in constructive discussions on key themes, characters, and techniques, and actively shared lots of new ideas.
