save the date for a charity valentine bake!

Our fabulous School Council have today announced a Charity Bake Sale for the last day of Half-term on Friday 9th February, and they are asking students to participate by bringing in heart and Valentine-themed bakes and cakes to sell to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation.

By taking part, students will also get the opportunity to be awarded house-points, and will be in with a chance of winning a fantastic prize for the best creation.

Our students and whole school community always do us proud with their enthusiastic involvement in all of our initiatives, and we are looking forward to seeing lots of contributions towards this worthy cause.

Senior Prefect Valentine Event

Our thoughtful 6th Form Senior Prefects team have also organised a special event for next week to celebrate St Valentine's Day, that will of course fall during our Half-Term break. They are giving all students the opportunity to have a message and chocolate hand-delivered to anyone in the school community of their choice, and the initiative will help to raise funds for their Leaver's Prom, a much-anticipated event in the school calendar!
